There are some moments in this business that take our breath away, and our very first PMP Ambassador Retreat at Shaver Lake was one of them. What started as a dream, a prayer, and a hope became a weekend that felt nothing short of magical. Cozy cabin mornings, laughter echoing through the trees, matching photoshoot moments — everything about this retreat reminded us why we do what we do, and why our community is the heart of Personalize Me Pretty.
This retreat wasn’t just a weekend away. It was a celebration of teachers. A celebration of community. A celebration of the women who have believed in us, shared our mission, and helped us make a positive impact across the nation.
And the truth is simple: we could not have done any of this without YOU.
From every order placed, to every story shared, to every kind message sent our way — your support is the reason we were able to pour into our ambassadors in such a special way. This retreat was funded by our community, by the teachers who love this brand, by the customers who show up for us again and again. It was built with faith, love, and countless prayers, trusting that when you give back to teachers, you’re planting seeds that grow far beyond the classroom.
A Weekend to Rest, Recharge & Remember Their “Why”
Teachers give so much of themselves every single day. They carry the weight of classrooms, students, parents, lesson plans, and personal lives all at once. They show up — even when they’re tired, stretched thin, or running on caffeine and heart.
So this retreat was intentionally simple.
Picture this: a cabin tucked among the trees, soft fall air, bagels and coffee in the morning, teachers arriving with the warmest hearts and the cutest outfits, and a mission that carried us through the entire weekend — to rest, recharge, connect and celebrate educators who make a positive impact every single day.
After months of planning, praying, preparing, and quietly working behind the scenes, our ambassadors finally walked into a space created just for them. They were greeted with snacks and drinks, cozy rooms, and the peaceful setting of the mountains. It was important to us that this retreat had no strict agenda or busy schedule. Teachers spend every day serving others — this time, we wanted them to simply breathe. To rest. To feel appreciated. To feel poured into.
Saturday
Saturday was our content creation day and let’s just say… these teachers understood the assignment. From sunrise glow to afternoon golden hour, their creativity brought PMP to life in ways that made our hearts dance. White tanks, leggings, flannels, cozy shoes, Christmas headbands, and the cutest accessories filled the cabin as they created reels, photos, behind-the-scenes moments, styling videos, and “day in the life of a teacher with PMP” content that had us smiling from ear to ear. These ambassadors are the experts — their magic is what spreads the heart of our mission across classrooms nationwide.
Meals were provided by us because this retreat was for them —breakfast from a local favorite, lunch from a local favorite, Shaver Lake Pizza dinner, and an endless supply of snacks for the weekend. The cabin was full of laughter, conversations that felt like long overdue hugs, and teachers bonding over shared stories, shared passions, and shared purpose.
Sunday
Sunday was their free day to create their own adventure. Some explored Yosemite National Park, some relaxed, and some simply sat in the cabin wrapped in blankets enjoying the peace. Watching them truly unwind reminded us why this retreat was worth every ounce of effort.
This retreat wasn’t about schedules — it was about heart.

None of this would have been possible without God guiding our steps. This brand, this mission, these teachers, this retreat — it has all been covered in prayer. We took breaks from social media to rest and reflect, trusting that the right people, the right opportunities, and the right community would always show up when needed.
